DIVESTMENT: Applying pressure to various organizations so they cut contracts and investments from companies violating Palestinian rights and companies partnered with Israel. When those companies lose enough money, they cut their ties with Israel, thus reducing the financial cushion of the Israeli military.

SANCTIONS: Leveraging collective power to compel governments to economically sanction Israel, as is their legal obligation under international law. Sanctioning Israel makes genocide against Palestine less profitable. This disincentivizes Israel’s continued colonial aggression and expansion.

กองทัพไทยมีข้อตกลงกับอิสราเอลอย่างต่อเนื่องมาตั้งแต่ปี 2516 (ค.ศ. 1973) และ ระหว่างปี 2543 ถึง 2563 (ค.ศ. 2000 - 2020) ไทยถึงขั้นติดอันดับ 10 ประเทศที่ซื้ออาวุธจากอิสราเอลมากที่สุด

The Thai military has had continued deals with Israel since 1973. Between 2000 to 2020, Thailand was even in Israel's top 10 arms clients. Palestine is used as Israel's laboratory for weapons and surveillance technology – technology that is later turned against Thai people, like how Israel's Pegasus spying software was used against pro-democracy activists.

Thailand is heavily reliant on LNG imported through the Strait of Hormuz. Israel has plans to take over the West Asia region, and its aggression against Palestine, Lebanon, Syria, and Yemen have expanded into Iran, forcing Iran to close the Strait of Hormuz. The strait's closure results in higher energy prices and rising cost of living for all people living in Thailand. Our agricultural sector is especially hard-hit, as Thai farmers can't afford to plant due to disrupted imports of urea fertilizer shipment and supplies – much of which comes from the Israeli-besieged West Asia region

The Hind Rajab Foundation, a litigative watchdog nonprofit, has identified at least 20,000 Israeli soldiers that have committed war crimes in Gaza. It estimates that Thailand is a top travel destination for Israeli soldiers, and at least 2 have been publicly identified committing war crimes before traveling to Thailand: Guy Azran and Lidor Kandalker. Israeli tourists in Thailand are also infamous for their belligerence and disrespect towards locals.

Thousands of Israelis have also started to settle and operate private Israeli-exclusive enclaves in Thailand, such as in Pai (Mae Hong Son province) and Koh Pahngan (Surat Thani province), even calling the latter a "second Tel Aviv". The exclusionary enclaves set up here faintly echo Israeli settlements in occupied Palestine – they are noted to have ties to Israeli military, undercut Thai workers, and negatively affect locals. In Capitalist Colonial: Thai Migrant Workers in Israeli Agriculture, Matan Kaminer explains how this pattern of behavior is rooted in Israeli treatment towards Palestinians and those they view as "outsiders", and is tied to the colonialist military background almost all Israelis have.

It is imperative we act to change Thailand's relations to Israel, even if the scale of change is daunting. This change starts on the individual level, and you can be part of it, by participating in BDS. Together we can unite and grow the BDS movement in Thailand

Internationally network with pro-Palestine organizations, and support Thai organizations fighting for land rights and land reform policies that will help make Thailand more resilient to exploitation and encroachment. Examples of such organizations include P-Move and Assembly of the Poor.

Like apartheid South Africa, Israel will only stop when it is no longer profitable. War is profitable for Israel – Israel can profit off harvesting organs from dead Palestinians to stock its skin bank (largest in the world), and its economy has become so militarized that warfare and military deals is how Israel remains afloat as a state. Thus, we must call for the Thai Government to:
